Why we launched the volunteer program
Did you know that 89% of employers seek candidates with proven skills in collaboration, project management, and strategic thinking, qualities often missing in entry-level applicants?
Yet, many talented marketers, particularly those starting their careers, struggle to gain the practical, real-world experience that employers demand.
Our goal with the volunteer program is to bridge the talent gap and empower the next generation of global marketers. The program is a structured cohort-based learning experience where, for six months, volunteers will work on real marketing projects under the guidance of their team leads.
In addition to helping our volunteers build their marketing skills, confidence, and job readiness, the program has created employment opportunities for participants. For instance, since its launch, we've retained two exceptional talents from cohorts one and two. Both alumni currently serve as content manager and social media manager on the core team.

Community and resource management
We’re looking for a Community/Resources volunteer to help foster collaboration, share valuable tools, and support the growth of African marketers. Your efforts will contribute to helping marketers attract global opportunities.
Content management
We’re seeking skilled content writers to create high-quality content that supports African marketers on their journey to global success. Your contributions will equip marketers across with resources, tools, and inspiring success stories.

No, this is not a paid position. However, at the end of the program, each volunteer will be eligible for the following benefits:

This is a flexible, remote position that requires 20 hours per week.
